Flatonia Postmaster Michael Joseph McKim of Flatonia is now facing murder charges after he shot a man in Lavaca County on March 5. The victim has succumbed to his injuries.
The murder victim, who Lavaca County Sheriff's Office identified as Ja son Pilat of Shiner, was shot after McK-Bellville im found his wife at the victim’s home.
McKim was arrested by the Lavaca County Sheriff’s Investigators and the Texas Rangers on March 22 in the death of Pilat.
