Flatonia football slides past Hearne

The Flatonia High School foot- ball team earned their fifth win of the season last Friday with a win vs Hearne High School by a final score of 21-19. Flatonia scored 14 points in the second quarter and also scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter to sneak away with a hard-fought victory.

Top performers were Kobe Burton with 63 yards rushing and Kade Giese with 103 yards receiving to go along with 2 touchdowns. First-year head coach Brent Mascheck has done a tremendous job with this team and it’s showing in their record and the way they play. This is only the beginning for Bulldogs football.
