AUSTIN — Darren Houston was apprehended in Austin by the U.S. Marshals Lodestar Fugitive Task Force and Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force.
Houston recently made his escape from court in La Grange during his trial for family violence.
Houston, 41, of Austin fled the Fayette County Courthouse before the verdict of his trial was read after being convicted on Jan. 12.
