FC 4-Hers take top spots at District Food Show and Food Challenge

CUERO — Numerous Fayette Coun- ty 4-Hers competed in the 2023 District 11 4-H Food Show and Food Challenge Contest on Dec. 13, 2023, in Cuero.

Creative Cooks placed second in the Senior Main Dish Category. Team members were Eleanor Carey, Tori Newton and Elena Supak.

Last Minute Cookers placed third in the Senior Side Dish Category. Team members were Peyton Gilchrest, Brea- ley Nieto, Railey Nieto and Josh Vrana. Shaker Bakers placed first in the In termediate Side Dish Category. Team members were Scotti Beseda, MacKayla Griffin, Hailey Janish and Kandon Kas par. Simmer Down placed first in Interme diate Healthy Dessert. Team members were Tatum Fritsch, Ally Kibby and Sawyer Mau.
