COLUMBUS - The Colorado County Beef and Forage Committee will hold their upcoming Beef and Forage 5-Hour CEU Educational Event Monday, Feb. 26 at the Colorado County Fairgrounds HE Building located at 1146 Crossroads Blvd. in Columbus.
Registration will be from 8 to 8:30 a.m., with the program beginning at 8:30 a.m. and concluding by 3 p.m. A catered barbecue lunch will be served. The cost of attendance is $30 per person if preregistered by Feb. 21. Registration at the door is $35 per person.
Topics covered in this program will include Livestock Diseases, Insects, Parasites and Their Control; Strategies for Soil Health; Weed Control in Pastures and Hayfields; and TDA Laws and Regulations Update. Five continuing education units (CEUs) for TDA Pesticide Applicators pending approval
