Parts of the tri-county area received over 16 inches of rain last weekend. To many, it was a blessing coming all at one time as it filled up tanks and reservoirs, gave pastures a good drink of water, and gave the sub-soil a good soaking. A lot of rain caused creeks like Cummins Creek in Colorado County to leave its banks.
