Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT) local chapter President Kathleen Townzen, found a colorful resource map of Texas, depicting historical, geologic, and cultural aspects throughout the state.
She purchased several to donate to local libraries. Townzen and Donna Pustejovsky presented a map to Columbus Elementary School after a Texas Pioneer Life demonstration last November.
This month, Pustejovsky presented additional maps to each of the school libraries of Eagle Lake Primary, Eagle Lake Intermediate, St. Anthony Catholic School and St. Michael Catholic School.
