Community Connections Day in Columbus connects people and nonprofits

COLUMBUS–The Community Connections Day, hosted by the Colorado County Habitat for Humanity, kicked off April 6 at the Colorado County Courthouse in Columbus. This event featured nonprofits and was a chance to raise some much-needed cash and showcase the nonprofits. The courthouse circular drive was covered with booths and tables as the crowd mingled and talked and bought. A few of the Magnolia Belles made an appearance to the delight of many.

This event featured nonprofits and was a chance to raise some much-needed cash and showcase the nonprofits. Of course, there was face painting and bouncy houses for the kids while the grownups shopped.

A number of kids took turns putting out fires after running an obstacle course set up by the Columbus Volunteer Fire Department.
