BELLVILLE — The HomeGrown Vegetable Contest was held June 8 at Linseisen’s Feed & Supply in Bellville. Along with the contest, there was an educational program on How to Make Sauerkraut, presented by Robert Luedeker from Austin County Horticulture Committee.
This year’s winners were as follows: •Best of Show: 1. Sherry Burnham for Tomatoes-Slicers; 2. Martha Neva for Bell Peppers; 3. Sherry Burnham for Cucumbers.
