Both the La Grange and Schulenburg High School volleyball teams received recognition for their efforts in putting the pen to the paper in the classroom and earned a spot on the AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) Academic Awards list.
For Schulenburg, it’s the 11th consecutive year they’ve received the award and they’ve also received the AVCA honor roll award for the fifth consecutive year.
La Grange and Schulenburg were two of 506 high school teams across the United States to be recognized and 46 of the teams were from Texas.
