As there are many great schools and teams in the area, there are a select few that stand out amongst greatness and are consistently successful year in and year out.
The area school with the best sports programs is Bellville. Bellville just recently made it to a state football championship and have had many division one athletes within the program. They are also a powerhouse in volleyball and consistently win in baseball, cross country and track.
The second school that stands out is Columbus. The Cardinals always seems to have a ton of elite athletes, no matter the sport. The sports that stand out with the most elite athletes are football, volleyball, baseball, softball, track and cross country. As a result, Columbus is one of the most consistently successful sports schools in the area.
