The Columbus Food Pantry Inc. (CFPI) board of directors invites the public to partner with them for the upcoming holiday promotion - Thanksgiving/ Christmas 2024.
Generous donors made it possible for CFPI to present 'Turkey Vouchers' as a gift to their client for the 2023 holidays. With the funds donated, they presented 270 vouchers to clients on a firstcome-first-served basis at the November 2023 distribution. The client’s household attendance that month exceeded the number of vouchers purchased. This year, CFPI hopes to present one voucher to each client household in attendance in November. So, CFPI is inviting everyone to partner with them.
Vouchers are only distributed in November but are valid for one year. Each voucher is $25 and allows the clients to purchase a ham and receive a 12-pound turkey free with that purchase. Also, clients can buy fresh produce with the vouchers. Clients may use their vouchers at any H•E•B grocery and instructions are provided.
