Stolen high-value trucks stopped by cops

In the early morning of Sept. 20, the Austin County Sheriff’s Office deputies observed two high-value pick-up trucks west of Sealy, believed to have been stolen from Hennessey Motors.

After a short pursuit, one of the vehicles was stopped by an ACSO deputy, and the driver, Romy Garcia-Guzman, was immediately taken into custody.

The truck was confirmed stolen from Hennessey Motors. Additionally, the driver of the get-away vehicle seen in the area, Oleviys Perez-Cordero, was arrested near the scene by the Sealy Police Department. Both subjects will be charged in Austin County for the auto theft.
