Mystery death solved - arrests made

The Austin County Sheriff's Office previously reported on Sept. 16 that ACSO deputies discovered the body of a male, now identified as Chase Dorman, in the 15000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 1094.

The ACSO Criminal Investigations Division (CID) learned that Dorman was attempting to steal a tractor when he was run over by the same tractor. According to witnesses, immediately after stealing the tractor, it was stopped to adjust the gears/transmission. The tractor ran over Dorman.

Several individuals who participated in the tractor theft and death of Dorman were Michael Frank Ford, 18, William Bradley LaRoche, 17, and Curtis Earl Mosley, Jr, 25. Ford and LaRoche are residents of the Magnolia area, while Mosley is an Austin County resident.
