LA GRANGE — Colorado Valley Quilt Guild showcases 18 of the 26 pledged quilts to the Day One Bags Project.
Day One Bags, a nonprofit organi - zation, provides duffle bags and back packs to youth in foster care instead of trash bags as luggage.
One goal is to gift every foster child in Texas with a quilt when they grad uate from high school in 2025. With over 600 quilt commitments and zip- per pouches from the U.S. for the fifth year, the project is wrapping seniors in love as they graduate high school.
