Glittery tree lighting ceremony in Eagle Lake
Eagle Lake Mayor Tim Kelley flipped the switch to turn on the town's Christmas tree during the annual lighting ceremony on Dec. 6 on the city square. This important Eagle Lake tradition signifies unity and the reason for the season. After the tree lighting, scores of people checked out the street vendors and grabbed some hot chocolate. Santa stopped by the Eagle Lake Annual Tree Lighting event in downtown Eagle Lake on Dec. 6 and took the opportunity to grab a little attention with a picture by the Christmas tree with Mayor Tim Kelley, left and Mayor Pro-Tem Amy Maxwell.
