SCHULENBURG Schulenburg Police Chief Troy Brenek reported there were a total of 4,310 calls for service for
2024. Five hundred of those calls were reportable incidents. Reportable calls are for those initial calls that turn into another incident, such as a traffic viola tion stop, which turns up drugs during the traffic stop reportable for a drug of fense. There were 1,446 traffic stops. Cita - tions were issued for 549 of those traffic stops.
There were 67 arrests and 12 war - rants served. Twenty-seven theft reports were taken and nine reported burglaries of a motor vehicle.
