TGCA All-Star Volleyball team
Two volleyball players from the area have been selected for the 2024 TGCA (Texas Girls Coaches Association) All-Star Volleyball team.
These athletes are Rebecca Lucksinger from Bellville and Caylie Neisner from Colum - bus. Lucksinger helped Bellville reach the state tournament this past year and Neisner helped lead Columbus to a deep play - off run as Columbus and Bell - ville are usually two teams that put on a strong showing throughout the regular season and into the postseason.
Bellville is led by head coach Susan Brewer and Co - lumbus is led by head coach Kayley Johns.
These two coaches are known for making the state tournament and know what it's like to compete at the high est level.
Out of all the volleyball teams in the area, you can al - most always count on Bellville and Columbus being at the top of the mountain.
