La Grange sprinter Jordyn Murray tallied a first place finish at the Leopard Relays last Thursday for the 400 meter event with a time of 52.57.
Bellville's Grady Hesters fin ished second with a time of 54.55 and Joseph Cerda from Bellville recorded a fourth place finish
with a time of 56.35 to go along with the other top place finishers from the area.
La Grange and Bellville always have elite athletes for track and they usually have runners that qualify for state.
As we normally have a bunch of runners that qualify from the area, La Grange and Bellville will likely be towards the top of the list in terms of number of athletes that qualify for state.
