585 kilograms of meth taken down with one sniff

Austin County Sheriff Deputy Orlando Buitron and his companion canine Knox took down a truck load of narcotics during a sniff-about after Fayette County requested a K-9 on March 26 in multi-agency in - vestigation involving a vehicle that was suspected to be transporting a large amount of illegal narcotics. A search of that vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately 585 kilograms of methamphetamine. Courtesy photo
