FLATONIA - Shorthorns golfer Reid Janda accomplished the hardest feat in golf March 6 at the Flatonia golf tournament held at Flatonia Golf Course, an ace. According to Schulenburg High School head golf coach Rich Hoogendoorn, Janda hit a shot on the par 3 seventh hole that took one bounce and went in the hole. This was also Janda’s second hole-in-one in his lifetime.
To go along with a special day on the course for Schulenburg, the Shorthorns finished first in the tournament and Janda carded a seven over par 79, shooting the lowest score on the team. A great outing for Schulenburg golf paves the way for even more success down the road.
