SCHULENBURG — The 10th Annual Schulenburg Sausagefest was everything it was supposed to be - a great time with great sausage.
The weather didn’t hamper the en-thusiasm of the crowd or the pit crews. There were so many things to do and be a part of: The fun run, walking parade, grand march, kolache eating contest, wine, pickle and sauerkraut contest, hog calling, cow chip tossing, sausage tossing contest and a whole lot of music. And of course, who has the best Worst in the competition. Can’t get any better than this out in the country.
