FLATONIA — Dennis Geesaman was selected as the interim city manager of Flatonia at a special meeting held on March 27.
Geesaman will help the city through May 23, so city business can continue moving along. He is taking on the position without pay with the understanding that he does not have to be in the office all the time.
Numerous applications have already been submitted for the city manager’s position but, according to Mayor Travis Seale, there is no set deadline for receiving city manager applications or selecting its next city manager.
Geesaman is a former Flatonia mayor and city councilman.
