Round Top-Carmine baseball finishes regular season strong

The Round Top-Carmine High School baseball team went on a surge to end the regular season as they won their last six games in a row. The opponents they faced were Richards, Burton, and Snook as they swept all three teams in each of the two-game series’. Newly hired head coach Ben Ahrens obviously knows what it takes to win games and he seems to have control of the locker room with the recent winning streak heading into the playoffs.

Round Top has had tons of success in recent years, reaching the cusps of the state tournament many times.

They usually have great pitching and can also put the bat on the baseball while bringing in runs. The Cubs are getting hot at the right time as the playoffs approach.
