AUSTIN — The Columbus High School girl’s golf team sent their entire unit to the UIL Girls Golf State Tournament at Jimmy Clay Golf Course in Austin.
Team members Thea Schobel, Katharine Burnett, Mady Garcia, Sydnie Shepard and Madison McRae placed eighth out of 12 teams with a score of 382/390 — 772.
Individually Thea Schobel scored 88/88; Katharine Burnett 96/96; Madison McRae 97/105; Mady Garcia 101/103 and Sydnie Shepard 108/103.
