Meeting with a steady stream of well-wishers, Travis Koehn, right, enjoyed his moment at his retirement party on April 27 in Bellville and the many years as a protector of justice. Koehn, in reflection as to how he maintained his district attorney position for so long, said, "I was always honest and upfront with people I wanted to be able to look people in the eye at, say, Dairy Queen, and know that I served justice."
