Rice High School’s Robert Myers earned a bronze medal in the Class 3A Boys Shot Put event at the UL State Track tournament with a mark of 57-0.75. Myers threw a 52-9.75, 56-7.50, 57-0.75, and 56-7.50 en route to his final score.
Rice has had more and more athletes qualify in state track and it’s even better when they can earn a medal. The Raiders have really improved in many sports under athletic director Brad Dumont and this is a school that is definitely on the uprise when it comes to sports.
