The Sealy High School boys and girls track teams had a great showing at the UIL State Track tournament last weekend at University of Texas. Steven Schwartz earned a bronze medal in the 4A Boys 300 meter hurdle event with a time of 37.82 and they also had relay teams participate, along with triple jumper Avery Grigar, who finished sixth with a mark of 37-11.75.
Sealy usually has a good number of athletes who qualify for state and this year they did the same with relay teams and individual athletes as well. The Tigers are another area team that has had a lot of success in a bunch of sports recently.
