Chessdale Acres Apiaries had plenty of gob-smackin' good local honey. Honey is great for allergies and sweetener. Ron Chess, owner of Chessdale Acres Apiaries, has been a beekeeper for more than 10 years. He learned all about beekeeping through the Central Texas Beekeeper Association in Brenham. Chess currently maintains and manages 43 bee hives, all located in Austin and Colorado county in the Bernardo area.
