Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reported that on April 29 around 9 a.m., the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting property damage at a residence on State Highway 159 at Rek Hill Road in the Fayetteville area. Deputy Wesley Arrison responded to the residence and met with the complainant, who advised that an 18-wheeler traveling westbound on St. Hwy 159 lost its rear dually tire assembly. The dually tire assembly went through a corner fence on St. Hwy 159 and through the complainant's yard fence, striking his porch and house, causing significant dam -age.
The driver of the 18-wheeler gravel truck was empty, heading to get a load, when Arrison located the 18-wheeler on Baca Road. off State Highway 71 without the rear dually tire assembly.
An accident report was completed and insurance information was collected and provided to all the victims who had damage. Paul’s towing also responded to the scene for the lost dually wheels assembly.
