EAGLE LAKE — The Eagle Lake Police recently conducted a traffic stop near an Eagle Lake school and daycare for multiple traffic offenses. A school zone is a Drug Free Zone.
Upon finding probable cause to search the vehicle, multiple controlled substances were found.
The substances were codeine syrup in a baby bottle, alprazolam, carisoprodol, hydrocodone and a small amount of marijuana. All these substances are commonly abused by youth and young adults.
Eagle Lake PD will continue to heavily patrol its schools, daycares and surrounding areas.
