Flatonia Lady Bulldogs beat Holland in softball to advance in playoffs

The Flatonia High School softball team picked up another win last Friday to stay alive in the playoffs as they defeated Holland High School by a final score of 11-4.

As Holland scored eight runs in the first inning, the Lady Bull -dogs didn’t give up and scored six unanswered runs in the seventh inning to win by two runs.

Key contributors for Flatonia were Brynlee Zimmerman with three hits and a RBI, Emma Kos ler who also had three hits and a RBI, Sadie Noska with two hits and a RBI, then Kara Croyle and Brealey Nieto, who each had two RBI's. Katie Templeton had two RBI’s as well.

Flatonia is having a great season and with the way they’ve been playing, it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

The Lady Bulldogs play Ganado at Cardinal Park in Columbus tonight (Thursday, May 15) at 8 p.m. then Friday at 6 p.m. Game 3 Saturday at 10 a.m. if neces sary.
