The Round Top-Carmine baseball team is on a roll as they recently won two out of three games against Medina High School to advance in the postseason.
The Cubs won the first game by a final score of 4-2, lost the second game 17-16, then won the third game 5-4.
Round Top is continuing the success they’ve had for a while now on the baseball diamond as they’ve been known for making deep runs in the playoffs.
First-year head coach Ben Ahrens has taken over the reigns and has done a tremendous job keeping the winning ways of Round Top baseball going. They also have assistant coach Keith Keiser, who's had a lot of success
as an assistant for the volleyball team.
The Cubs are in great hands with solid coaching and athletes who know how to produce and win games.
The Cubs play Spurger Friday, May 16 with Game 1 at 4:30 p.m.
