The Columbus High School softball team swept Orange Grove High School in two games to keep their strong season going.
Columbus won in dominant fashion with a final score of 8-3 in the first game and 12-0 in the
second game.
This team is known for playing well at this time of year and are superb on both sides of the ball.
Columbus definitely has tal ent, but credit to head coach Alfred Rosa, who’s a very experienced coach and has kept this elite team intact really ever since he’s stepped foot in Columbus.
This team is loaded with players such as Mia Post, Ella Berger, Ella Brown, etc.
The Lady Cardinals have a very high probability of making it to University of Texas Red & Charline McCombs Field for the state tournament to be held May 29-May 30 in Austin.
The Lady Cardinals play Bish- op today, Thursday, May 15 and Friday, May 16 at 6 p.m. at Kene - dy then at 1 p.m. Saturday at the same place if necessary.
