La Grange Leopards keep season going in baseball

The La Grange High School baseball team has continued to put W’s in the win column as they recently defeated Burnet High School in a three game series.

The Leopards lost the first game 4-3, won the second game

7-4, then won the third game 3-2.

La Grange is led by head coach James Zaruba and they have athletes that know how to grind out wins.

This team is talented at the plate and in the field with solid fielders in the infield and outfield.

They also have stellar pitching and hitting. It's no fluke that La Grange has made it this far. They are well coached and know what it takes to win when it matters.

The Leopards play Bridge City tonight (Thursday, May 15) at 7 p.m. at Rice University in Hous- ton then Friday, May 16 at 7 p.m.

at Summer Creek High School in Houston.

They will play Saturday, May 17 at Summer Creek 2 p.m. if necessary.
