A number of tri-county ath- letes qualified for the UIL State Tennis Tournament, which was held May 15 and 16 at Northside ISD in San Antonio. Athletes who qualified include Cadyn Booker (Weimar, 2A Singles, ousted in round of 16), Mikayla Otto and Caden Herzik (Schulenburg, 2A Mixed Doubles, ousted in round of 16), Camdon Pitchford and Callie Neisner (Columbus, 3A Mixed Doubles, ousted in round of 16), Summer Anderson and Sydney Rush (Bellville, 4A Girls Doubles, ousted in round of 16), then Chloe Brandt and Emmy Novicke (Bellville, 4A Girls Doubles, ousted in quarterfinals).
