It’s A Wrap Magnolia Days 2025!
A successful and smooth-running Magnolia Days 2025 is a wrap and was only made possible because of our Sponsors & Volunteers! To each one we extend a resounding “THANK YOU!!” Truly it would not have happened without you!
Todd & Morgan Barten have been faithful Presenting Sponsors to Magnolia Days for years. They are the cornerstone to Magnolia Days Festival and their continual contribution to many organizations in Columbus highlights their remarkable commitment to their community.
Today I want to give a shout out also to our TOP Volunteer Peggy Harrison!
Peggy has served as the Chamber Board President for the past two years, and she took on the task of heading up the Magnolia Days Committee. If you know Peggy, be sure to extend thanks and appreciation for her many hours of dedication and commitment to making Magnolia Days Festival a great success!
She has given selflessly and the chamber staff has high praises for all that she has done and the hours and hours of her life she has poured into this organization.
Columbus State Bank sponsored our “Watering Hole,” aka beer garden, again this year and we saw another successful year due to the extreme work of:
• Lindsay Graham, Texas Farm Bureau Insurance and past Chamber Board President
• James Janik, Texas Farm Bureau Insurance and past Chamber Board Member
• Charles Potter, Potter’s Western Store and current Chamber Board Member.
This dynamic trio was the force that made the Watering Hole the place to be during the Festival’s live performances on Friday and Saturday nights! They gave tremendous amounts of time and energy to help everyone enjoy a great event! Be sure to thank them when you see them!
Special mentions to the Chamber Ambassadors who made the on-stage announcements during the Festival:
• Anna Shultz, Blue Ribbon Grounds and current Board Member
• Matti Sprague, Dewberry Café
• Sandy Anderson, TruCare Living Centers (TLC) To help show our appreciation to our great sponsors and volunteers we will: Host a “Thank You” dinnerand enter each sponsor and volunteer into our drawing for three chances to win two Splashway day passes!
To the City of Columbus, Colorado County, and our law enforcement for all that they do for the community to make these types of events possible---Thank You!!
Much appreciation to the Chamber's Office Manager and Event Coordinator, Shelley Janik, who is the behind-the-scenes organizer of Magnolia Days. With her extreme attention to detail, Shelley helped create a very smooth-running event with little to no issues! Our Creative staff, Justice Alleway, was an immense support and we appreciate all her work through the process!
And—yes—2026 is already being discussed!
