LA GRANGE — Colorado Valley Telephone Cooperative (CVCTX), announced the recipients of its 2025 Rural Scholarship Fund awards. A total of $60,000 has been awarded to 12 outstanding graduating seniors from
across six area high schools.
Each student will receive a $5,000 scholarship to support their pursuit of higher education. The Rural Scholarship Fund is made possible by unclaimed capital credits, deposits, and similar funds from former Cooperative members, which would otherwise be turned over to the State’s Escheat Fund. Additionally, CVCTX contributes earnings from investments designated spe-
cifically to support this scholar
ship program.
“Supporting the future of our communities has always been a core value of CVCTX,” said General Manager Kelly Allison. “We are proud to invest in these students and their bright futures.”
