Annaston Kutac wins Father’s Day Beef Essay Contest

Annaston Kutac, right, was presented a certificate at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic School's Awards Banquet on May 20, for winning second place in the Father's Day Beef Essay Contest held by the Navidad Valley Cattlewomen's Association. She read her essay entitled 'I Love My Dad' to her dad, Aaron Kutac, left, and surprised him with the winning $50 beef certificate. Each year, the Navidad Valley Cattle women's Association invites sixth graders from Fayette, Lavaca, and Colorado counties to enter an essay contest honoring their fathers/fa- ther figures for Father's Day.
