FLATONIA — The Weimar Vets traveled to Flatonia for game two against the Wildcats.
The Vets came up on the short end of a 7-2 final score.
Trevor Brown shut down the Wildcats with three strong innings, allowing no runs, two walks, and two strikeouts.
The Wildcat bats woke up and they scored their seven runs the next three innings.
Kannyn Goehring finished the game allowing no runs, one walk, and striking out two.
The Vets scored one run in each of the sixth and ninth innings.
Offensive leaders were Carson Peschel, 3 singles, walk, run scored; Kyle Peschel, single, 2 walks; Weston Pavlik, single, RBI; Cole Rasberry, double; Mark Revilla, double, run scored, walk; Alex Angerstein, walk, stolen base; Trevor Brown, single.
Defensive standouts Mark Revilla, Ryan Rerich, Cole Rasberry, Ryan Rerich, and Kyle Peschel caught another complete game.
