SCHULENBURG - To be named a Chancellor’s Scholar, students must earn
a 3.75 GPA, complete at least 12 credit hours (excluding developmental courses) as a full-time college student, and pass all their courses.
Schulenburg High School salutatorian, Chayse Deagan, earned this honor at Blinn College District for the Spring 2025 semester and is the only ACCSS dual credit student to do so.
Deagan graduated from high school having earned 33 college credits from Blinn College District as a dual credit student. Her overall Blinn GPA was a 3.81.
She will be attending Texas A&M University in the fall and plans to study Biomedical Science.
