SCHULENBURG — Parents as Teachers of Rural South-Central Texas hosted its 2025 Groovin' into Greatness Graduation and Awards Ceremony on June 5, at the Schulenburg Elementary School cafetorium. The event began with a joyful parade of graduates, setting the tone for a heart-felt celebration filled with recognition, student song performances, and the presentation of PAT family awards. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal, sweet treats, and hands-on arts and crafts activities. A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Ginger Bosl Award, honoring outstanding commitment to the program, which was awarded to Helen Niesner for her steadfast support throughout the year.
The PAT Family of the Year Award went to Joe and Jennifer Garza, recognizing their exceptional involvement and enthusiasm.
New this year was the Milestone Partner Award, presented to the Stanzel Family Foundation in appreciation of their generous support and lasting impact on the program's mission. The evening was filled with pride, laughter, and love-creating treasured memories for all in attendance.
