ROUND TOP-CARMINE
The Round Top-Carmine High School baseball team had a stellar and very impressive season in just year one of the Ben Ahrens era.
The Cubs had an overall record of 13-14 and 6-7 in district, but made it all the way to
the regional finals where they ran into a hot
Fayetteville team who bested them in a two game series.
It’s hard to come into a program and win right away as a head coach, so the future is looking very bright for Ahrens as he’s only graduating two seniors and had six freshman on the roster this year.
The only problem for Round Top is they’ll have to make it past Fayetteville in order to make it to the state tournament, but a superb
first season for Ahrens tells us that Cubs baseball is in a great spot.
