LA GRANGE — Robert Leroy Bowers, 45, of Katy, was arrested by DPS in La Grange on June 14 for threats made against state lawmakers. The "credible threat” happened during the No Kings protest at the State Capitol in Austin.
The Capitol grounds were temporar - ily evacuated about 1 p.m. with the ar - rest on the same day around 5 p.m. in
La Grange.
A DPS trooper performed a traffic stop on Bowers with the suspects vehicle being flagged for the crime. A gun was found in the vehicle. No mugshot is available at this time. A request from DPS for more informa -
