LA GRANGE — Jackie Glenn Wotipka, 53, of La Grange, was recently sen- tenced by a Fayette County jury to five life sentences for three counts of first-de gree felony sexual assault of a child and two counts of second-degree felony indecency with a child by contact.
Wotipka, a friend of the victims' family, who is charged in Fayette Coun -
ty, could also face charges in Colorado County due to molestation that occurred in Weimar involving another victim. He has a prior sexual assault conviction, for which he spent 10 years in prison, followed by 10 years of probation after his release. Wotipka grooms his victims but must now serve at least 35 years before becoming eligible for parole.
