The Columbus boy’s and girl’s golf teams have played solid golf in recent years and have made it to state each of the last two years with the girls team having a bunch of golfers qualify for state last year.
The Cardinals are known for sending golfers to state for both teams and are known to produce quality golfers, as it’s been said many times that Columbus produces quality athletes in general.
Columbus is not only known for making to state, but performing well at the tournament also.
It will be key for the golfers to work on their short games as that’s the most important part of golf, but this is something they seem to be aware of with the success they’ve had of putting the ball in the hole.
