With the recent changes to the coaching staff after the Roger Maupin retirement, the Weimar High School softball team will have a new look with incoming head coach Dylan Conway.
As mentioned before, hiring from within is an advantage for teams because the coach already has a good feel for the chemistry, schemes, and how to manage the roster.
Weimar had tons of success under Maupin, but they also had superb athletes in the field and at the plate as well.
Conway is a great hire for this team and he’ll likely continue to have athletes that know how to put the bat on the ball and field their position to make outs.
