Weimar has hired a new softball coach after Roger Maupin retired as newly hired head coach Dylan Conway will be taking over softball duties.
Conway is also a teacher and has 16 total years in the education business.
He graduated from Rockport- Fulton High School in 2004 and went to Texas A&M University on scholarship for discus in track and field.
In Conway’s teaching and coaching career, he’s worked for Lexington, Ingleside and Snook high schools.
Conway has been in the Weimar program for some time now and has Maupin’s approval, so he’s already ahead of the game in terms of being successful as a Weimar head coach.
