The Fayetteville High School boy’s basketball team has been a powerhouse for the past few years and it’s thanks to superior coaching by head coach Jake Diggs and athletes that are coachable and noticeably enjoy playing together on the court.
The Lions have been state tournament contenders ever since Diggs took the helm and it’s because the athletes have bought into his schemes while they admire playing for him.
Even though it’s hard to get better than what Fayetteville has been for these past few years, the goal is to win a state title and this team is obviously hungry and has the pieces in order to do so with high level coaching and athletes.
