COLUMBUS CARDINALS

Fresh off a state tournament appearance, the Columbus High School boy’s basketball team is locked and loaded headed into the ’25-’26 season.

They’ll be graduating seniors such as Grayson Rigdon and Camdon Pitchford, Rigdon a lethal scorer and Pitchford the starting point guard, but head coach Troy Bohac made it to state for a reason and it wasn’t just because of having scorers.

The Cardinals are great at running schemes and know how to play situational basketball and get the job done in big moments, which is what made them so good last year. Columbus also has great underclassmen and juniors that had experience last year, so this could be a team that makes a nice run once again under Bohac’s leadership.
